Sound Wheel is an interactive harmony wheel that listens to your microphone and detects chords in real time. Play a chord on any instrument (or sing), and the wheel highlights what it hears along with common harmonic resolutions.
The wheel is arranged in circle-of-fifths order with four concentric rings:
Tap any chord segment to select it manually and see its harmonic connections. The arrows show common chord progressions and resolutions (V7→I, deceptive cadences, secondary dominants, and more).
Use the Chords menu to browse all chords with a piano keyboard preview showing which notes are in each chord.
Works best with a clear, close sound source. Designed for instruments, but also responds to singing and humming.
